Humiliation - Face the Disaster artwork Old school death metal from Malaysia

Little is known about the Malaysian band, Humiliation, save that they like to keep their website hidden from the public eye and provide contact with only an email address. I suppose in creating their old school death metal sound they went so far back in time that the Internet hadn't been created. However, website or not, their EP., Face the Disaster, can be obtained through their email address as like any metal band they wish to deliver the music to the fans.  Expect a mid paced chugger of an album here with simple drums and monstrously deep vocals. Everything is raw and harsh demo-like quality between the four tracks here, but that brings out the old school death metal sound even more. The guitars have a clearly audible buzz to them that may ruin the sound quality of the other instruments, but the vocals are clear enough to keep everything in check.

The EP may seem a little short in the sense that it's only about fourteen minutes long but it's still filled with enough groove laden death metal to please most fans. Some songs like "Battlefield" are a bit faster than others whereas most songs hold rhythms and beats that sound like a badly produced Six Feet Under album. Fans of Godless Rising, Obituary, and even early death-doom Paradise Lost will enjoy Humiliation. Hopefully in the future they will flesh out their death metal even more while sticking with their gritty sound.
